We're very pleased to announce the official Grand Opening of the West Arm Restaurant. After several months of delays due to equipment, trades and supplies, we're ready to go for this coming weekend, Friday, Oct. 9 through Sunday, Oct. 11 (Thanksgiving Day). Details below:
Friday Oct. 9 - we will be open for both take-out and dine-in, with regular breakfast, lunch/dinner menu.. Our online take-out system is not yet running for this weekend, so please call in and/or email your orders ahead of time, and someone will contact you with a confirmation.
Sat. Oct. 10 - same as above.
Sun. Oct 11 - we will not be open for breakfast or lunch, instead opening at 4pm for our reservation-only Thanksgiving Dinner. There is very limited availability for this, as the Guests that are staying with us in our cottages had first opportunity to reserve, leaving only several seating options left over. Please email or call in your reservation request during normal business hours (9am-7pm), and we can let you know what, if anything, is still available. We only have a 4pm and 6pm seating for this, but you can also call in a take-out reservation (these are also very limited, however). We will only be serving our Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner special on Sunday, no regular menu items.
The Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner Special includes a choice of our Chef Salad with vinaigrette or homemade butternut squash soup to start. The main course of several slices of fresh roasted turkey, has all the trimmings. This includes (real) mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, house-made stuffing, homemade cranberry sauce, and gravy. The dinner is finished off with a choice of apple or pumpkin pie, with a dollop or our real whipped cream, plus your choice of coffee or tea. All of this for $22.98 (taxes and gratuities not included).
After this special long weekend, the restaurant will be open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, from 8am to 8pm. These are our Late Fall/Winter hours, and last until the May long weekend. Online ordering for pick up and the reservation system for dine-in, will go live mid-next week. As per provincial guidelines, we are very limited in dine-in capacity, and will be following all protocols in place. This means that max. party size is 6 people at a single table. We are however permitted to continue to allow the purchase of alcohol for take-out orders, as long as there is a meal purchased at the same time.
