Boats

We have a fleet of 16’ aluminum fishing boats that you can take advantage of renting. Each boat comes complete with an anchor, boat safety kit, a paddle, two seats and a 15hp Yamaha engine. Please note that gas is EXTRA and due upon the return of your rental.

Boat Launching

Here at The West Arm Lodge you can launch your pleasure craft for a nominal fee. The cost is $10 in and $10 out. Parking for your vehicle and trailer on site is subject to availability. 

 

Fishing

A fishing license is required on all Canadian waters.

The West Arm of Lake Nipissing is blessed with an abundance of weed beds where Muskie, Northern Pike, Small and Large Mouth Bass, Walleye, and Perch thrive. When you return, our screened-in fish cleaning facility stands ready at the water’s edge.

Before you venture out, we'll give you a detailed map of our West Arm habitat and some helpful hints on what to use to be successful in your adventure. We can't sell fishing licenses at the Lodge, but you can obtain them easily online.  For more information, please refer to the FAQ below.

Here at the Lodge we have live worms available for purchase in our Welcome Centre.
