22/10/2008 FUN FOR YOUNG
I was there in summer together with my brother. It was one of the most amazing things I have seen in my entire life. It was magical, close to nature and still not really in to the wild. Black Rock was amazing and the fishing was superb. The owners are extremly nice and helpful. The special swiss food was and probably still is a dream. Its hearty and filling, but still with nice european style. Thumbs UP Frank and Cathy

My wife and I, along with another couple went to West Arm for a birthday/fishing getaway. The hospitality at the West Arm was FANTASTIC. Cathy, Frank and Willie all went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were taken care of. whatever it was we needed, they provided. The cabins are a great place to stay, relax, rewind, and escape reality for a spell. A great time was had by all. The Roschti is a MUST TRY! FISH ON!!

Ich erinnere mich sehr gerne an sportlich-abenteuerliche Kanuferien von 1982 und 1983 zusammen mit Freunden im Algonquin Park, Canada. Was meint ihr, Frank und Cathy, dürfen wir davon träumen, sowas iUnvergessliches im Herbst 2009 bei Euch wieder zu erleben?

How great it is to see such a wonderful lodge such as WestArm not only to be continued in the traditionally lovely way by the new owners but even has improved under the new ownership. I have vacationed there since the very beginning with Ray and Ron for over 20 years i have looked foward to a calm, clean, nice vacation. And this year I found not only what I expected but even much much more. When i checked in I received my code for the free wireless internet - what a great idea to bring modern life as we all are used to it in the meantime to this traditional place! And what a great restaurant you added! Thanks a lot, Frank and Cathy! The landscaping is as beautiful as it was in the past - although there were so many difficulties to overcome after the last caretaker's problems, as we know! Thanks a lot again - and I'll be back in "my" cabin 8!

Lieber Frank Nochmals danke für die guten Tipps. Wir werden uns sicher rechtzeitig melden, um ein tolles Programm zusammenstellen zu können. Ich schaue einfach hin und wieder auf eure spannende Homepage. Man müsste doch viel mehr Ferien machen können, als nur gerade mal 4 Wochen pro Jahr! Liebe Grüsse. Marianne

Bill and I have been coming to West Arm for about 15 years and we love the place. My grand parents came there in 1950 and then us and my daughter and family now come up the second week to join us. We are the fourth generation to come to west arm and we love it. We look forward to meeting you and seeing the new changes. One thing we have always wanted to see was being able to gather in the lodge in the evening for pie and coffee and talk over the day. That way we get to know more of the campers. Please think about more all camp activities when the fishing is over for the day. Thanks so much -you have our deposit and we wish you all the best with your adventure.

I am sure a huge welcome awaits Frank and Cathy, they are great great people. By the way, I think I may have shared a table with a guy called Ron in Zurich not so long ago and he was eating Rosti. Small world hey! I bet Willi knocks out the best Rosti in the world.
